Michelle Hyun Kim is a writer and editor based in Brooklyn.


My writing on music and culture has been published by The Guardian, GQ, New York Magazine, Rolling Stone, NPR Music, Teen Vogue, W Magazine, and other outlets.

I’m currently the features copy editor at The Guardian US. Previously, I was an editor at Them and staff writer at Pitchfork.  I’ve contributed to the agency Third Bridge Creative, where I researched and analyzed trends in music and digital culture.
